FESTIVALS

Ancient historical traditions are re-enacted during the October tests when the colours of autumn combine with the warmth of summer.

A historical pageant, a medieval tournament, re-enactments of ancient customs, the donkey "palio" and flag waving exhibitions make these events truly memorable.

All kinds of specialities and the excellent Costa degli Etruschi wines can be tried during the fests, while meat cooks on gigantic spits, in the middle of the town's square.
